If the crisis of confinement has demonstrated anything, it is that culture and the arts are necessities.

People, in their solitude, have visited museums, attended concerts and virtual music and dance performances. They have watched series and movies and have satiated their spirit and emotions with the only universal language that humanity possesses: the arts.

Art has once again managed to unite those who were separated and will once again be what unites us after isolation, after saying goodbye to our loved ones, after the joy of reunion.

Being so important, we do not understand why culture and especially dance is the last thing that is thought of when it comes to investing in a country like ours. We do not ask for anything that is not fair: dignity, presence in the institutions and support of public authorities and citizenship.

Because art unites. Art unites us. And now that union is what we all need the most.
